For a long time, my content workflow was upside down.
I was building the house before checking the foundation. I would go straight to video—scripting, filming, editing—and only find out after posting if the topic was actually interesting.
That is the most expensive way to test an idea.
When a high-effort video missed, it felt like I had set three hours of my life on fire. So, instead of trying to "try harder," I decided to try smarter.
I started testing with text.

No lights. No camera. No pressure.
Text is the ultimate MVP (Minimum Viable Product). It lets me test the hook and the value proposition instantly. If the text flops, I saved myself three hours of filming. If it hits, I know exactly where to spend my energy.
Video became a way to amplify what was already working, rather than a tool for guessing.
Don't confuse moving fast with actually getting somewhere.
Try this workflow experiment this week:
1. Draft the bones, not the script. Open a blank page (or a tweet composer). Strip your idea down to the raw concept. No hooks, no fluff, no "hey guys." Just the core argument you want to make.
2. Test in the wild. Post it immediately to a low-friction feed like X (Twitter), Threads, or LinkedIn. Do not design a graphic. Do not overthink the hashtags. Just ship the text.
3. Listen for the signal. Wait 24 hours. Silence is data—it means the angle needs work (and you just saved yourself three hours of filming a dud). But if you get comments, questions, or shares? That’s your green light.
4. Scale the winners. Take the high-performing text and use it as your script. You aren't guessing anymore; you’re just adding production value to an idea that’s already proven to work.
Stop building in the dark.
Validate first. Scale second.
