I used to spend six hours editing one. single. photo…

I’d tell myself I was a “perfectionist”.

I wasn't a perfectionist, I was just scared

Scared to post and have everyone judge me for not being good. Scared they figured out I didn't know what I was doing. Scared of being seen trying, only to fail.

I would sit there, move a slider, move it back, change the crop, change it back.

Six hours for a photo nobody was waiting for.

You know what finally fixed it?

Nothing. I still feel that way.

Almost every post that’s published, there's still a voice that says this isn't good enough.

The voice didn't fully go away, but the conversation around it changed.

So that voice in my head used to be ‘I have to be great at this’.

Now it's slowly turning into ‘I'm already f*cking good at this’.

I’ve started valuing my time more because speed matters for my business, for my output and surprisingly for my mental health.
