Have you ever sat on a content idea for days…

…tweaking the hook, rewriting the caption and thinking “this needs to be better before I film it.”

Meanwhile, someone else posts a half-baked version of the same idea

…and it blows up.

Yeah.

I’ve been there, and it happens more than people want to admit.

The problem with focusing on ideas

Most creators think growth comes from finding better ideas.

But ideas are everywhere.

Thousands of people have already thought of something similar to the idea in your head right now.

“Ideas are cheap unless they’re extraordinarily unique.

The real question is: who can execute better?

There’s no prize for having the idea first

But for creators focused on execution, who:

  • post quick

  • consistently iterate

  • stay in it for the long run

Their ideas turn into actual content. They receive feedback which accelerates growth. Then their ideas always improve as a result.

The Execution Principle

Here’s the way to think about it.

  1. Capture the Idea

When you get an idea, don’t overanalyze it.

    Write it down.

    Most ideas are simple.

  2. Execute Fast

Instead of asking: “Is this idea good enough?”

Ask: “Can I film this today?”

    Speed matters more than perfection.

  3. Let the Audience Decide

Creators are terrible judges of their own content.

One of my reels that blew up with millions of views and likes…was a video I almost didn’t post.

I thought it was too simple. But the audience loved it.

    That’s why you publish first.

Then you learn from the data.

If a post doesn’t perform…you didn’t fail.

You collected data. And data is how creators improve.

Do this before the day ends.

Write down 3 simple content ideas

Film one of them immediately

Don’t over-edit it

Post it today

The creator who posts 10 times will always beat the creator waiting for the perfect idea.

Because execution compounds
Ideas don’t

If you follow this advice, here’s my prediction for you:

  • In a month, you'll have more data on what actually works for your audience than most creators collect in a year.

  • Posting consistently will be a problem of the past.

  • If anything, you’ll have too many ideas and won’t know what to do with them.

I’m not saying everything gets easy once you take this approach, but it sure beats analysis by paralysis (overthinking your ideas).

You’ll eventually hit a different wall.

You’ll be growing and have success, but you won’t know why certain videos work and why others don’t. And you’ll likely be too busy executing, to stay on top of trends.

That’s what my team and I have been working with Film and Flow Premium.

We’ve been going down the rabbit hole, analysing what short form content is actually trending right now, and delivering a breakdown of the hooks, patterns, formats etc. so you know exactly why each one works, and can adapt it directly for your audience.

Members also get access to my full resource vault which includes LUTs, overlays, my Cinematic Transitions Mini-Course and access to custom feedback.
