“I love coloring books”
When I was a kid in elementary school, I drew a picture of Ha Long Bay.
It’s a real place in Vietnam, Limestone islands floating on green water, Worth looking up.
My teacher liked the drawing so much that she made a fuss over it. And that small moment planted an idea in my head: maybe I have an eye for color.
I don’t know if that was even true back then, But I believed it, so it became true.
Years later, I make videos for a living. And my favorite part of the whole process is still the coloring.
🚀 The 3 Step Coloring Formula
The secret behind almost every Hollywood movie is contrast. Warm colors against cool colors. Orange and teal. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Here’s the recipe:
Warm up the skin, People’s skin lives in the orange, yellow, and red family. Push your midtones toward orange and everyone in your frame starts to glow.
Cool down the shadows. Shadows are naturally dark and cold. That’s where the blue and teal belong. Now your warm skin has something to push against.
So today I want to share how I do it, It’s simpler than you think.

📸 Instagram Carousel Update: Instagram now lets you write a caption for every slide in a carousel. Up to 20 captions per post, with a new “Multiple captions” toggle. Fair warning: it’s glitchy right now. When I tried it, my captions collapsed into one long paragraph, Give it a week if that happens to you.
🎥 Sony FX5 Rumors: The Sony FX5 is on the way. The rumored announcement is July 22. Leaked specs include 5K open gate, triple base ISO, and internal RAW. Sony has never put those in a camera this small.
