What’s up fam?
Let’s talk about something wild.
Creators with 5k followers are out-performing creators with 500k. And not because they’re better.
But because the rules flipped and nobody told the big guys.
Inside today’s issue:
Why follower count barely matters in 2025 and beyond.
How small creators are pulling more views than influencers.
What the interest graph actually prioritizes.
What to do this week to boost your reach instantly.
If you’re ready to utilize some of these same strategies being used by smaller accounts to crush views, then let’s dive in! 👇
The algorithm does not care about popularity.
A few days ago, I was talking to a student who’s been posting every day, trying different styles, experimenting nonstop.
Still… no real growth.
At the same time, this tiny creator with around 5,000 followers kept racking up hundreds of thousands of views like it was nothing.
That used to feel impossible. But this year, things shifted:
Platforms are pushing content based on pure interest, not status, not clout, not follower count.
Big influencers built their empires during the “social graph” era. Your audience saw you because they knew you.
Now the feed is simply matching content to curiosity.
If your video aligns with what people actually want to see, it gets pushed. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t matter who you are. It gets buried.
And that’s exactly why smaller creators are breaking through.

The “Interest Graph Alignment” System
If you want the algorithm to actually pick up your content in 2025 and into 2026, you need to post in a way that makes your content easy for the algorithm to categorize and distribute.
Here’s the system I teach my students:
1. Pick one core promise for your content
Not a niche. A promise.
Example:
“I help creators grow faster.”
“I teach photography for beginners.”
“I simplify money for young professionals.”
A clear promise helps the algorithm understand who you’re for.
2. Make 80% of your content about that promise
Think of it like training the algorithm.
When you go too broad too fast, the system can’t figure out where to place you.
But when most of your videos point to one theme, distribution becomes automatic.
3. Create 3 repeating content formats
Not random posts every day, repeatable formats.
Examples:
“1-minute breakdowns”
“Before/after transformations”
“A tiny lesson I learned this week”
Repeating formats help viewers recognise you and help the algorithm predict performance.
4. Use one sentence to anchor every video
Before you hit record, finish this line:
“This video helps people who want ___ understand ___.”
If you can answer that, you’re aligned.
If you can’t, the video is probably too vague.
💸PRO TIP: Post at least 2 pieces per week that directly solve a problem your audience feels today.
These posts get the strongest interest signals and often go viral from tiny accounts.
YOUR MOVE FOR THIS WEEK
Let’s make this real.
Here’s what I want you to do in the next 48 hours:
✅ Pick your one core content promise. Write it in a single sentence.
✅ Create one repeating format you can film today
✅ Film 3 short clips around that promise
✅ Post one piece before 6PM
If you’re in, reply “GO” — I read every message.
Let me leave you with this:
You don’t need a massive audience to win anymore.
You just need to show up with intention, stay consistent, and ride the shift that big influencers are too slow to adapt to.
This era favors the hungry, not the famous.
Let’s grow fam.
